GET TO KNOW ME
My name is Sam! I'm married to my high school sweetheart since 2010! We have 2 kids together Kiya who is 14 and Tayton who is 11. We are a family of ADHDers. I believe that knowledge is power. I am a homeschool mom who has also worked in schools with elementary- post secondary. My favorite kids are always the "behavior problems" as I think they very misunderstood. I believe that all behavior is communication if we just learn how to listen to what isn't being said.

My Story- So my journey did not start as mine. It Started in Oct of 2019 with my then 5 year old son. My amazingly sweet boy (who I have long suspected of ADHD) began to struggle in his Kindergarten class. Along the way we realized it was not just my son struggling it was my daughter and myself. Talk about an "AH HA" moment that made my whole life come to focus. My husband was diagnosed as a child but the information I pieced together over our journey has helped not just our children, but my self and my husband. I was frustrated because there was so much misunderstood information about ADHD. As I continued I learned more about HFA which is also entwined in our family. I then took a job where I go to develop these skills and delve into Anxiety and OCD. I have found my passion and purpose which is to teach and help both children and the adults who love them that struggle with neurodiversity.
My hope is to share tips, tricks and strength based approach for both our kids and ourselves. I want to be your guide, your cheerleader and part of your support system BUT my ultimate goal is for other momma's and newly diagnosed women to know they aren't alone, while providing them with education and support. I want everyone to understand neurodiversity can be reimagined not as a disorder but the uniqueness that it is!

May your coffee be stronger than your child's attitude
Lots of Love Sam
